Privacy
This page explains how the Harry's MITEY Run website handles information. It is a notice about this campaign site, not a policy for donations processed on other websites.
Using this website
This notice applies to the Harry's MITEY Run website. It does not apply to other websites we link to, including Givealittle and You Me We.
We treat personal information in line with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020. This page describes what this website does today.
What this website collects
The sponsorship enquiry form and the contact form are the only forms on this website that ask for your details. There is no account sign-up, comment form, or newsletter form. We do not take donations or payment details on this website.
- The sponsorship enquiry form collects your name, email address, and a message about how you can help. A phone number is optional on that form. The contact form collects your name, email address, and a message. We use that information to follow up about sponsorship or to reply to your message. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission for spam, then the message is emailed to the Harry's MITEY Run team.
- Donate opens Givealittle in a new tab. Donor and payment details are handled by Givealittle under their own privacy policy.
- Fundraising totals shown here may be seed layout figures until a live feed is approved. They are not a live donor list.
- The site can record campaign events, such as a donate click or opening a route day, only if a measurement ID is configured and an analytics script is loaded. If that is not switched on, those events are not sent.
- The host that serves the site may keep usual technical logs, such as the page requested and basic browser details, to keep the site available and secure.
- The map and countdown are campaign content. This website does not run a live GPS feed of Harry's location.
Other organisations
Some parts of the journey leave this website. Givealittle processes donations. The You Me We mark opens in a new tab. School or social links may appear when official destinations are approved.
Those organisations have their own privacy policies. We cannot control how they use information you give them.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information is held about you and ask for it to be corrected. If you have a privacy question about this website, send a message through the contact page and include:
- the web address of the page
- what you want to know or correct
- how we can reply to you
